Rethinking Holiday Expectations
Workshop Details
Date: Wednesday, November 4, 2026
Time: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Pacific
Cost: $150 per participant
The holiday season can be a time of joy, connection, and celebration, but it can also bring stress, resentment, overwhelm, and exhaustion. Often, the greatest source of that stress isn’t what others actually expect from us—it’s the expectations we assume they have, the expectations we place on ourselves, and the expectations that go unspoken.
In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore how assumptions, people-pleasing, perfectionism, family dynamics, and unspoken expectations can create unnecessary pressure during the holidays. Participants will learn to recognize common expectation traps, distinguish between real and imagined obligations, and make more intentional choices about where they invest their time, energy, and attention.

What You’ll Explore
During this workshop, you’ll:
► Recognize the expectations driving holiday stress — including assumptions, people-pleasing, perfectionism, and unspoken obligations.
► Distinguish between real responsibilities and assumed expectations so they can make clearer choices about what they do (and don’t) need to take on.
► Identify what matters most to them and develop more intentional ways to spend their time, energy, and attention during the holiday season.
Through reflection, discussion, and practical exercises, you’ll gain greater clarity about what matters most to you and discover ways to approach the holiday season with more authenticity, balance, and peace of mind.
Join us for an engaging exploration of holiday expectations and leave with greater clarity about what’s truly yours to carry—and practical ways to make more intentional choices about your time, energy, and attention this holiday season.
